The race schedule is now coded. It's very straight forward and right now very minimalist. Th e racing calendar has several races throughout the year. The month column is on the left. I expect long campaigns to go for many years meaning their might many dozens of months. The distance is the middle column - 5 furlongs, 6 furlongs or 10 furlongs. Each horse has skills to race in one or two different distance races but never all three so the owner will need to choose the races to enter each horse.
The "wins" column is a unique game mechanism that helps to level the playing field. A horse that has 1 win needs to race against other horses that also has 1 win. Horses that have 2 wins compete against other horses that have 2 wins etc. It's a way to separate the elite horses from the rookies. A horse might never win and might never leave the "rookie" pool.
You can see some months have multiple races. Owners can race each horse once each month meaning they will need to make some choices based on the available races, their horses ability, the distance of the race and their likeliness to get prize money.
