So much meta-data
Here are screen dumps of the sort of data available to stable owners:
This is a list of all horses showing age, wins, racing strength and stable owner
When you click on a horse in the first list (e.g. Singer) then you see some detailed stats on their racing strength by displaying their phase strengths and racing history below that. In this example, Singer has one race and finished 5th.
This shows the racing schedule (left), the nominated horses in each race (middle-top), the race results (middle bottom) and the horses owned by this stable (Singer).
Because this is a turn based PBEM game, the left box shows the actions you've requested. In this example, the horse named Singer has been enrolled into a race on the 5th month - I hope he runs well!
Messages from the host is displayed on the right. Horse Singer raced on the 2nd month and we can see above he came 5th. The host is also alerting every player that Diago got a win. His "wins" is now = 1 and is not allowed to race against rookie horses.
As before - text based. Minimalist. The focus so far is on functionality. I'm starting to alpha test now and make small refinements to the presentation. Simple presentation will happen eventually but this game is not about the bling - it's about the meta.
