Season schedule mechanics

Daily progress is quite fast and here I present the placeholder schedule:

Remember everything is raw and still in development.

What you can see here is a table with every game in the season. You can use the mouse wheel to scroll up and down and because there are

three

hundred

games

per season, a shift-scroll has been built in so you can fast scroll through the list. You can see week 2 on this screenshot with home and away teams. Games that have been played will have home and away points. I'll try to get images/logos on here at some point.

I wanted to show the green team names - these are player controlled teams (not bots). If you don't have 29 friends (I don't!) then there will be bot teams. I wanted to show on the schedule which matches involved real people so you can ignore the bot vs bot games if you like.

See the 4 buttons on the side? This is how you control the flow of the season.

Watch game: lets you select a game and watch it as many times as you like. It is a view of the replay so you and your friends can watch that anytime and any place - no live streaming on youtube required!

Sim next game: will instantly sim the game in the background, using real rules and displays the score straight away. The sim is the same as the "watch". No funny business in the background. Sim is not an approximation or anything - it's the game played out for real. You just don't see it (but you can watch the replay!!)

Sim bot games: lets you sim all the bot games in the season. Perhaps only 10 out of 300 games involve a real person you can use this button to sim all the bot vs bot games in seconds.

Sim week: sims the whole week - players and bots. I suspect this will be the most used button if you're playing with friends. The idea for the host to load the game, sim just one week and then share the game files via discord or email or whatever you like. All the other coaches can then load up the game files and watch all the replays or just their own replays anytime they like. No live streaming required.

I think I'll add another button to "sim bot games this week". Let me know what you think in the comments. Remember all images are placeholders.
